The field is shaping up for next month’s Speedgolf World Championships.

These guys are amazing…shooting in the 60s and 70s in under an hour!

Here are a few player bios from the Pro/Elite field:

JJ Killeen – Ft. Worth, TX
-Nationwide Tour Player of the Year 2011 with two wins
-PGA Tour member 2012 with one top ten finish
-Played college golf at TCU

Jaacob Bowden –  Switzerland
– 2003 Pinnacle Distance Challenge Winner
– 3-time District Finalist at the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships
– Official Swing Speed Trainer of the eGolf Pro Tour and President of Swing Man Golf
– 5th place finish at 2012 Speedgolf World Championships

Bernard Lagat – Tucson, AZ
-World Champion at 1500 & 5000 meters 2007
-Four time Olympian and two time Olympic medalist
– American record holder 5000 meters – 12:54

Nick Willis – New Zealand
-Three time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medalist 1500 meters 2008
-9 handicap golfer
-Best SG score of 122 (79 in 43 minutes)

Chris Walker – The Woodlands, TX
– Notre Dame graduate & golf team captain final year
– Won 2 Big East titles with the Notre Dame team
– 2012 Speedgolf World Champion.

Christopher Smith – Portland, OR
– Speedgolf World Record Holder (score of 65 in 44 minutes, 2005)
– Sub 3 hour marathoner
– PGA Teaching Professional at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club
– Author of “I’ve Got 99 Swing Thoughts but ‘Hit The Ball’ Ain’t One” (Crown, 2007)

Tim Scott –  Lincoln, CA
– Winner of more than 15 Speedgolf tournaments
– Runner-up in 2012 Speedgolf World Championships
– Best SG score of 112 (70 in 42 minutes)
– Masters Pentathlon National Champion 2010

Eri Crum – Boise, ID
– Varsity golf at Stanford from 1994-1998 – captain of the team in 1998.
-Teammates at Stanford included: Tiger Woods, Casey Martin, Notah Begay, and Joel Kribel.
– Ice hockey player entire life – captain of the Stanford hockey team (club).
– 3 hour Boston Marathon finish, and a 1 hour 21 minute half marathon recently

Jay Larson – San Diego, CA
– Former Speedgolf world record holder – 72 in 39:55
– Former professional triathlete and top ten finisher in Hawaiian Ironman World Champioships
– Winner of several Speedgolf tournaments

Allan Phillips  – Tucson, AZ
-Honorable Mention All American at Emory University (four year golf team member)
-PRs: 2:39 marathon, 1:13 half marathon; 4:34 half ironman
-Winner Oregon SG Open 2013 with 75 in 42:02 – 2nd place pro in Speedgolf debut at Eastern SG Open
-United States Army officer

Rob Hogan – Ireland
-Winner of Eastern Speedgolf Open pro division 2013
-2nd in Oregon SG Open with 74 in 43:28
-7th in 2012 Speedgolf world championships
-Fastest round of golf – 31 minutes

Tim Hval – Portland, OR
-3rd place finish in 2012 SGWC
-Winner of Oregon Open
-Original Bandon Dunes head professional

Matt Dehlin – Portland, OR
-Won Salem SG Classic with 73 in 45:22
-4th place finish in Oregon SG Open with 75 in 46:04

Karl Meltzer – Sandy, UT
– NH junior golf runner up
– winningest 100 mile ultra runner on earth, with an astounding 35 100 mile wins
– professional ultrarunner

Mark Stockamp (a) – Lake Oswego, OR
– Winner of the 2012 Amateur World Speedgolf Championships.
– First year runner who discovered his passion for running during his Senior year of high school
– Very excited to begin his Freshman year of college at the University of Washington this Fall

Gretchen Johnson (a) – Portland, OR
-Varsity golf at NYU
-Low amateur and female at 2012 speed golf world champs
-Marketing manager for Nike running

Scott Dawley – Houston, TX
– 1997 Texas state high school golf champion
– Member of two top-15 collegiate golf teams (South Carolina Gamecocks and University of Houston Cougars)
– 2012 Medalist Golf Association Tour Champion
– best Speedgolf score of 120

Thor Gissurarson – Iceland
-Current mini-tour player in Europe & U.S.
-3rd place finisher 2012, 2013 in Icelandic Stroke Play Championship
-Played college golf in U.S.

Pete Phipps (a) – Raleigh, NC
-Played college golf at Army
-Finished 2nd in first SG event in Richmond shooting 75 in 54 minutes
-Recently shot 67 in 43 minutes on 6000 yard par 70 in Raleigh, N.C.

Scott Manley  (a) – Raleigh, NC
-Played college golf at Army
-Currently stationed in Slovokia with Army Special Forces Unit

Jamie Young – Kenosha, WI
-Won first Speedgolf event in Richmond shooting 77 in 49 minutes
-Ironman triathlete from Wisconsin
